Claims Policy
Damages during transit may occur due to road conditions. Customers are advised to opt for risk coverage. Claims must be lodged within specified timelines and only visible external damages are considered.
Shifting Claim Policy
Due to challenging terrains, damages may occur during transit. Deal Packers and Movers strongly advises opting for carrier risk coverage by paying applicable FOV charges.
Goods Consignment Notes (GCN) are issued under “Carrier Risk” as per Section 11 of the Carriage by Road Act, 2007. No individual insurance policy will be provided.
General Instructions
- Inventory value is final for claim settlements.
- Declared item values must be verified at packing.
- No claims for items not listed in the packing list.
- Claims must be submitted within 72 hours (12 hours for car/bike).
- No claims if risk coverage is not selected.
- No compensation for pre-damaged items.
- No liability for self-unloading or customer-packed items.
- No compensation for building or elevator damage.
Car & Bike Shifting Claim Policy
- Only external damages will be considered.
- No claims for mechanical or internal issues.
- Vehicle transport is at owner’s risk.
- Damage certificates will be provided if required.
Electronics & Furniture Claim Policy
- Gas leakages are not covered.
- Authorized service center estimates required.
- Furniture repairs preferred over replacement.
- No claims for minor scratches.
- GST will be paid on approved repair bills.
Security & Privacy
We protect personal data from unauthorized access using physical and digital safeguards. Access is limited to authorized personnel only.
Quality
Personal data is maintained accurately and collected directly from customer forms and communications. Customers should notify us of any updates.
Monitoring & Enforcement
We monitor compliance with privacy policies and investigate complaints. Violations may result in disciplinary action.
Payment Terms and Conditions
By making payments to Deal Packers and Movers, you agree to the following payment terms.
Accepted Payment Methods
Payments can be made via UPI, net banking, or cheque. Availability will be confirmed at booking.
Payment Gateway Usage
By completing payments, customers waive chargeback rights except as allowed under our legal terms. All disputes must be resolved through customer support.
Refund Policy
Refunds are processed as per booking terms and service agreements, subject to approval by Deal Packers and Movers.
Dispute Resolution
All disputes will be handled amicably by our customer care team.
